Hunting For Morel Mushrooms

In this video, i go hunting for Morel Mushrooms, mid May in Alberta.

Morels will fruit in the first few warm days after the spring rains. I was looking at south facing slopes, mixed woods, semi-open areas and looking hard, because these things are so hard to find!

We also found some Verpas- which some people may confuse with a true morel.
