How to Create A Butterfly Garden

I made this short video to highlight a few tips that will be useful to know if you want to promote wildlife in your yard. The North Carolina zoo helped support this video, and I’m grateful to all the staff there who helped give me their knowledge. I also wanted to thank my amazing patrons for their patience.

Here are the main points I wanted to make

1. It’s not that hard – you just need to start.
2. Flowers over Grass
3. Lay off the pesticides.
4. Get LOTS of flowers together
5. Choose a sunny location
6. Plant natives if you can
7. Remember to plant host plants as well (like milkweeds)
